Furthermore, I'm still spitting soda out of my nose from the hilarity of cthulhu's post. Brilliant.

Nuclear and fusion are the future. Chernobyl was a disaster borne out of our own human ignorance and carelessness.

A sobering reminder about the pitfalls of embracing nuclear power again, after a long hiatus. People sick of the rising oil, natural gas and coal prices see nuclear as an alternative, but can we really be sure of the safety issues?

Many of the above images are from screen footage, promotional material, and 'behind the scene' footage of "Nuclear!", a once to be daytime tv soap drama telling the story about the lives of workers at a nuclear plant. The show was unfortunately axed before even one episode aired.

The sixth image is part of the opening credits, in which most of the cast are seen walking in slow motion to the sound of an 80s guitar solo.

The image before that, the fifth image, was also taken from the opening credits. She was the women they both loved, yet her love lay in heavy metals, which coincidentally contributed to a horrifying season finale in which the plant supervisor, played by actor jonathon normans, met a well-deserved demise.

There he is in the eigth image explaining passionately to an employee that "leaks or no leaks the plant must stay online for the good of the Motherland"

Actually everything I have written is a total lie. But if it did exist, and I am not saying it should, it would at least be better than all those daytime tv dramas about hospitals.
