Gott Mit Uns, Ben

Bruce Chapman, writing for the Discovery Institute, can’t seem to get his talking points right. After an  embarrassed silence over the PZ Myers/Richard Dawkins imbroglio at the Expelled  showing, the Creative minds of the blogosphere decided the best course of action was to accuse Myers and Dawkins of gate crashing.

Amazingly, the best selling Oxford scientist/author Richard Dawkins also crashed a showing of Expelled  in Minnesota last night and he not only was let in, but introduced at the end of the showing.

Unfortunately the formerly monolithic anti-evolution movement includes Kevin Miller, the writer for ExpelledWho seems to be susceptible to reality.

EXPELLED!
Category: Creationism
Posted on: March 20, 2008 8:26 PM, by PZ Myers

There is a rich, deep kind of irony that must be shared. I’m blogging this from the Apple store in the Mall of America, because I’m too amused to want to wait until I get back to my hotel room.

Well, Casey Luskin is up to his bullshit tricks again, claiming that the ‘Darwinists’ (his words) are spreading misinformation by claiming that the Wedge Document says something it does not. The only problem, and a big problem it is, with Luskin’s argument is that the Wedge document does say that, although it does so using slightly different words. What the proponents of evolution and the courts are doing is spreading the ‘essence’ of the Wedge Document and getting down to the nitty gritty of the DI’s intent. Luskin should know that there is more than one way to say something while preserving the meaning and intent, something creationists in their zeal to quote mine seem to not understand.
