Fascism/communism/socialism and the theory of evolution have NOTHING to do with each other.
Socialism is a system whereby a relatively small group of people (government) can most efficiently control the activities of a large group of people (the rest of a society) “for the good of society.” This is a political system.
The theory of evolution states that tiny changes in the genetic makeup of organisms accumulate over long spans of time, resulting in large changes, and thus completely new types of organisms — thus accounting for the variety of life, while explaining why so many different kinds of organisms nevertheless have so many features in common. This is a theory of biology.
The fact that the occasional sociopathic monster with charisma might take some ideas connected with evolution, such as “survival of the fittest,” and twist them around in order to convince large numbers of unthinking people to commit crimes against the “unfit” among us, does not discredit the theory of evolution or prove that we would have been spared the ordeal of driving Nazi Germany into oblivion if Darwin had never watched finches and come up with his original theory. The theory of evolution does not tell you how to live your life or how to treat other people; it only tells you how life proceeds over many generations.

He then goes on (of course) to blame evolution for fascism, communism, etc. Hypocrisy, thy name is Tom Willis.

RWA misrepresents Willis — it is Fascism, Communism and Socialism that are responsible for Evolutionary Theory (not the other way around).
Evolutionary theory can no longer be defended on scientific or mathematical grounds alone… the “religion” is now evolution itself.
