Read the Word. God wrote down everything we needed to know. It’s written in plain English for even the slow to understand.

The crusades were run by secularists? I guess I'm going to have to sue the Catholic university where I studied history. They lied to me about the papal influences on those wars. It must have been Western European secularists who also killed the Eastern Orthodox Christians during the crusades.
I'm going for the shot; I shoot; and I score. One diploma in history all net and in the garbage.
An excellent example of the dangers of "belief". These people must still close their eyes when scared in the vain hope that they won't be seen.

>> Mr. Silverback’s question about taking a chimp to be intermediate between a rhesus monkey and a human is a good one...

Only if the chimp and rhesus fossils were the ONLY TWO FOSSILS IN EXISTENCE!!

Mr. Silverback’s question about taking a chimp to be intermediate between a rhesus monkey and a human is a good one that deserves an answer.
The problem lies in the rather loose definition of intermediate. It implies direct descent, but doesn't actually mean that.

I like how the one person outs the deaths *due* to Darwin at over 1 billion by claiming that Sanger is responsible for 850 million of them. Yes, she was a racist and a eugenicist, but what these idiots don't seem to realize is that she was actually against abortion and only half-heartedly supported it in later life. One of the benefits she felt that birth control would have would be to greatly reduce the incidence of abortions.

As for the alleged 50-80 million deaths due to Carson's Silent Spring, this is a load of crap too. DDT was already losing its effectiveness by the time the book came out. She did not, however, call for a ban, and it is still used throughout the world. What is done is the massive spraying campaigns, and this is mostly because the mosquitos long ago developed resistance to the chemical.

Oh, and that TOGODBETHEGLORY person is certifiable.
