The concept of “green jobs” is a crock anyway. See for example “Green Jobs Myths” at http://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=1358423 .

So it kind of makes sense, to pick a radical flake like Van Jones as “Green Job Czar.”
